Welcome! I'm Sam Oakwell, an astrologer and independent scholar based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I have studied with Jenn Zahrt, Austin Coppock, and Rob Bailey, and practice a variety of Hellenistic and medieval techniques. Major textual influences include Vettius Valens's Anthology, Sahl ibn Bishr's On Questions, and Marsilio Ficino's Three Books on Life.
If you're interested in my scholarly endeavors, you can check out my blog over here, where I write about philosophy, with a focus on Neoplatonism.
My books are currently open for natal and horary readings! Please click one of the links below to schedule a consult over Zoom.
