My Approach to Readings

Crack the Cosmic Code

I like to approach chart readings from a position of empowerment. I want you to leave the consult with a better understanding your situation and how make the best of it. We can discuss a variety of things in our time together, including:

  • What your chart says about specific areas of life (e.g. career, finances, higher education, relationships, etc).

  • Optimal times to act or expect new developments in your life, as informed by timing techniques, including transits, annual and monthly profections, and solar returns.

  • Spiritual and worldly practices that might be beneficial to you, given your chart and the current space weather.

We’ll look at the planets most closely related to the topics of interest you indicate, dig into what they have to offer you (and how well they can deliver on what they promise!), and discuss strategies for moving forward, given what’s in your chart.

Techniques I Use

In case you’re already well-versed in astrology, here’s a bit more information about how I look at charts from a technical perspective:

  • When reading a chart, I look at all the traditional planets, the lunar nodes, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. I will often look at Chiron, and Vesta as well, since I’ve found that they can often provide useful information.

  • I use both Whole Sign and Alcabitius houses simultaneously, as I find that the combination of the two systems lends a more complete perspective on chart, as well as the life it symbolizes.

  • The two most prominent timing techniques I use are annual/monthly profections and solar return charts. I like looking at transits as well, but tend to use the other techniques to delineate which transits will be most significant.

  • I find that Egyptian bound rulership and triplicity rulers of Alcabitius cusps can provide a lot of useful information about a chart, so I try to factor those things into readings when possible or relevant.

  • Above all else, I treat astrology as a form of divination and the client as a co-creator of reality with high levels of agency. I strongly believe that in giving a reading, I am providing messages for my clients in the here and now, which may potentially (but not necessarily!) inform action.
